On Saturday, September 25th, volunteers from the City of Henderson, Henderson Rotary Club, Vance County Schools, the Henderson-Vance Downtown Development Commission, and the local community conducted a litter sweep throughout the city. Chief Marcus Barrow and members of the HPD picked up litter on Garnett Street while Bob Nelson and Greg Etheridge with the Henderson Rotary Club, Bonny Strange with the HVDDC and Tracy Madigan with Downtown Development picked up litter downtown on the side streets from the Post Office to Young St.
