DESCRIPTION:Franklin-Granville-Vance Smart Start\, Inc. will hold its 11th annual Ducky Derby race in downtown Henderson on September 19th at 11:00 am. Due to the current environment\, no tickets will be sold to purchase ducks as FGV Smart Start will be securing sponsors only to support this event. Each duck will represent a child who has been enrolled in the Dolly Parton Imagination Library this year\, and one lucky child in the program will win the first place prize\, Chick-fil-A for a year. The event will be recorded live and presented on the Facebook page. Super Duck – $500 Feathered Friend – $250 Quacker Backer – $100 For sponsor information call Garry at 252-433-9110\, ext 227 \nCould you share with your Board today that the Ducky Derby will ( rain?) take place this Saturday at 11 am?  No public invite ( due to 50 person restriction).  If any businesses from Breckenridge to Orange ( Roses’ side) are present\, they need to be aware of parking restrictions on that side that morning until noon.  No Parking signs going up.

The Book Bag Drive-Thru will take place in the circle between the Henderson Police Department and McGregor Hall Performing Arts Center on Breckenridge Street. Book bags are for youth attending school in Vance County. Parents will enter from South Garnett Street and exit onto South Chestnut Street.
